Slime Care
Slime is a living chemistry project! To keep your StretchRiot Slimes feeling brand new, proper care is essential. Temperature, sunlight, and handling all play a role in how your slime performs over time. Follow these simple steps to ensure a long-lasting stretch.
Hybrid
Since hybrid slimes combine two different formulas, they benefit from regular, gentle kneading to keep the textures perfectly blended. Follow the care instructions for whichever base is more dominant—usually adding a touch of lotion for clay-heavy mixes or activator for clear-based ones.
Bingsu & Floam
To keep these crunchy slimes in top shape, always play with clean hands to keep the beads and base debris-free. If the beads start to fall out, the slime likely needs a tiny bit of activator to regain its "grip" on the add-ins.
Thick n Glossy & Clear
These textures are prone to melting in warm weather, so keep them in a cool, dark place when not in use. If they become sticky, add a drop of activator at a time and knead thoroughly to restore that signature "clicky" and firm resistance.
Icee & Cloud
Avoid over-activating these textures, as too much borax solution can ruin the "drizzle" and make the snow feel rubbery. If they feel dry or stiff, simply add a small amount of water or glycerin to reactivate the fluffy, wet sensation.
butter
Because butter slime contains clay, it can dry out faster than other types if left out of its jar. If it feels a bit tough, knead in a small pump of unscented lotion to return it to its soft, spreadable, and buttery consistency.
